Dr Jennifer Walker

Dr Walker has a Master of Public Health and PhD from the University of Melbourne. Over the last 12 years, she has been involved in Primary Care Research in sexual health and colorectal cancer.

Jennifer’s research focuses on 1) implementation of novel interventions into general practice, 2) the development and trialling of technology for use in general practice and 3) reducing unnecessary over-screening in the Australian population. Jennifer is a Research Fellow on the CRE as part of the Primary Care team and has been developing and optimising the design of the colorectal cancer risk prediction tool (‘CRISP’) for use in general practice.
